Job Summary


The Transportation Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of logistics and transportation processes within the organisation. This position involves coordinating shipments, managing transportation documentation, and liaising with customers and drivers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of transportation management systems and be adept at data entry, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Duties



Coordinate and manage transportation activities to ensure timely delivery of goods. Entering accurate records of shipments, including tracking information and documentation. Utilise transportation management systems to monitor logistics operations and improve efficiency. Creating load manifest and generating delivery paperwork. Perform data entry tasks related to shipping schedules, customer information, and inventory management. Support sales management efforts by providing logistical insights and customer service.
Monday to Friday. 8am to 5pm with 1 hour lunch.

Due to location own transport is essential.

Wage depending on experiance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 22,000.00 per year
