We're seeking a highly skilled Transport Compliance Manager to join our expanding team in Ballynure. This newly created management role will play a vital part in overseeing fleet and driver compliance while shaping policies that keep our operations moving efficiently and legally.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead driver tachograph analysis to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Monitor working time and liaise with operations teams accordingly
Regular vehicle tachograph checks in-line with vehicle inspections
Review driver first use checks using gate exit audits to confirm accuracy
Work closely with the Fleet department to manage vehicle defects and statutory documentation
Conduct regular checks on driver licences and qualification cards to ensure compliance with legal and insurance requirements
Audit maintenance schedules and records in conjunction with Fleet department
Track and manage fuel & Adblue usage across the fleet
Liaise with drivers and relevant authorities to resolve compliance issues
Stay up to date with regulatory changes and advise the business accordingly
Produce and support in the compilation of reports as required
Master key systems to streamline compliance management
Support development of operational policies and procedures
Assist with investigations, disciplinaries and driver recruitment efforts
Acting as a named transport manager on the company Operator Licences
Essential Criteria
A Transport Manager CPC qualification
In-depth knowledge of transport regulations, including driver hours, tachograph analysis and vehicle maintenance standards
Desirable Criteria:
Previous involvement with Operator Licence compliance within a large transport organisation
