A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:


Co-ordinate and prepare delivery and collection of freight information, ensuring all documentation is processed and completed on time and accurately whilst providing excellent customer service support. Co-ordination of collection and delivery of goods. Understanding Operational restrictions including management of transportation of sequenced stock and liaising with customer to ensure best possible customer service. When required, to ensure flexibility within the department to cover colleague's tasks during times of holidays & absence. Investigate routings for the Transport Plan for new or amended customers/destinations. Ensuring all administration is up to date and accurate.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

Transport experience in a Logistics / Supply Chain environment essential. Excellent knowledge of planning principles Good critical thinking skills Able to communicate at all levels, internally and externally IT Literate with knowledge of Excel, Tachomaster & Microlise.
