We're now looking for a Transport Controller

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

Managing driver paperwork and post-journey debriefing Managing the trailer pool for the site Managing the defecting process for vehicles requiring maintenance Arranging for vehicle maintenance by liaising with maintenance suppliers Driver performance management Communicating effectively with various parts of the business, including with the customer Helping the site to meet KPI and budgetary targets Managing driver hours and schedules Investigating incidents and complaints Support the Transport Manager Attend meetings

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

Excellent organisational skills Minimum of 1 year experience of team management Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Computer literate Background in transport operations - desirable
