JOB SUMMARY

The Role:

Transport Coordinator

Lesters, the large packaging specialists, have an opportunity for a Transport Coordinator to join the business.

This is a key role within the business reviewing and interpreting the production schedule, to plan the following days deliveries, assisting with loading using an FLT as required. Training on how to interpret and working our production plan and booking in delivery notes will be given, however the right candidate will need the ability to undertake the following duties and skills:

Key Duties/skills

Have the aptitude to be able to visualise pallets and understand how to maximise the space to load a truck to full capacity FLT driver to assist with the loading or unloading trucks on an ad hoc basis as needed Ability to understand the production schedule and plan loads for the next day for Morning Shift to finalise Computer literate with the ability to undertake transport admin including delivery notes, booking in and out, and any transport duties. Knowledge of UK Geography Knowledge of Drivers hours/Times Knowledge of Corrugated Industry Willingness to Learn and confident in their own abilities

Salary negotiable on experience Working hours to be agreed. We would be looking for an 8 hour day and will discuss and agree the exact hours with candidates to suit. Workplace pension scheme.
