23,000.00 + 10% shift allowance

Lisburn, BT28 2SN (Northern Ireland)

Pattern of Work -

36.5 hours, alternate early & late shifts


What you need to know about the role



As a Transport Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of goods to customers. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the site's transport planning and distribution activities, aligning logistics operations with both commercial objectives and production schedules.

You will be responsible for preparing paperwork for incoming material loads, verifying test certifications for incoming materials, generating proof of delivery certificates for customers. This coordination is essential to ensure that customer demands are met efficiently.

Your role will require a proactive approach to problem-solving, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities


Prepare paperwork for incoming material loads Verify test certificates for incoming materials Book materials into the stock management system Record shipment paperwork and create delivery documentation Generate Proof of Delivery (POD) and test certificates for customers Compile load records for transport arrangements Notify the sales team of any failed deliveries Maintain filing and archiving of all paperwork Respond to customer queries regarding PODs and test certificates



What we need to know about you



We're looking for someone who is self-driven, highly organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. You should be confident in your ability to prioritise workload effectively and demonstrate strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills.

You'll need to have a solid foundation in administrative processes, with a particular emphasis on proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience in handling logistics or transport coordination is highly desirable, but not essential if you bring the right mindset and transferable skills.

Strong communication skills are a must--you'll be liaising with various internal teams and external partners, so the ability to build relationships and convey information clearly and professionally is key.
