Barnes Logistics are an equal opportunity employer with multiple depots across the UK. With a fleet of over 120 vehicles and 150+ employees, we are one of the UK's leading providers of logistical support and warehousing.
This role is available due to growth and expansion, and will be based in a newly refurbished office. We are seeking a motivated, positive, and hardworking Transport Coordinator, who will establish themselves within a new team at a very exciting time for our business.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Transport Planning: Plan outward loads and backloads efficiently, working closely with other Barnes depots.
Driver & Customer Support: Answer incoming calls from drivers, colleagues, and customers professionally.
Transport Administration: Update customer systems, add jobs to our planning system, and maintain accurate records.
Collaboration & Flexibility: Support the team by taking on ad hoc duties and contributing to operational success.
What We're Looking For
At least 2 years of transport planning experience.
A valid driving licence.
GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or equivalent (preferred).
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience with transport management systems (desirable but not essential).

A team player with excellent communication skills.

Working Hours
Hours of operation: Monday to Friday, 07:00-18:00. Shift pattern primarily 07:00-16:00, however flexibility required.
