YENDU is a growing same-day delivery and logistics company supporting small businesses and subcontracted courier operations across London. We are seeking a skilled and organised

Transport & Distribution Manager

to oversee day-to-day delivery operations, manage drivers and riders, and ensure high service performance across our delivery network.

This role focuses on last-mile delivery management, route planning, fleet coordination and overall operational performance. You will play a key role in improving efficiency, reducing delivery times, managing costs and supporting the continued growth of the business.

Responsibilities

Manage daily transport and distribution operations across London Supervise drivers and riders and oversee shift planning Coordinate delivery routes and schedules Monitor delivery performance, delays and service quality Ensure vehicle compliance, safety checks and operational standards Liaise with subcontract partners and third-party courier clients Handle customer delivery issues and operational escalations Track performance metrics such as delivery time, route efficiency and service reliability Support business growth through continuous process improvement

Qualifications

Proven experience in transport, logistics or courier operations Strong leadership and team coordination skills Experience with route planning and dispatch operations Good understanding of last-mile delivery and fleet operations Strong communication and problem-solving ability Ability to work in a fast-moving delivery environment
Previous experience within same-day delivery, courier services, fleet management or subcontracted transport operations is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 35,000.00-38,000.00 per year
