Job Summary

We need CPC qualified transport Manager who can manage the Compliance and operations.
The Transport Manager is responsible for overseeing the transportation Compliance, operations within the organisation, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of customer service. This role involves managing a team, coordinating logistics, and optimising supply chain processes to enhance operational performance.

Duties

Manage and supervise the transport team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure smooth operations. Develop and implement transport strategies that align with company objectives and improve efficiency. Coordinate daily transport activities, including scheduling deliveries and managing routes. Maintain accurate records of transport operations, including vehicle maintenance and compliance with regulations. Liaise with customers to address any issues or concerns related to deliveries, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimise logistics processes and reduce costs. Monitor transport performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary. Ensure all transport activities comply with health and safety regulations.

Skills

Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and data analysis. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficient in English, both written and verbal, for clear communication with team members and customers. Demonstrated leadership abilities to inspire and motivate the transport team. Strong customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients. Knowledge of supply chain management principles to enhance operational efficiency. A valid driving licence is preferred for occasional on-site visits or assessments.

Pay: 15,000.00-45,000.00 per year
