You will be responisble for the company\'s fleet operations, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Manage a team of drivers, ensuring proper vehicle maintenance, and adhering to industry standards and legislation.

Transport Manager is Responsible for

• Oversee all aspects of transport operations at our distribution centre in Hereford.

• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, including holding the O\' Licence.

• Maintain and elevate transport functions to world-class standards, focusing on people, efficiency, cleanliness, and safety, operating under Earned Recognition rules.

• Provide training and competence development for drivers, scheduling refresher training as required.

• Lead, manage, and support the transportation team through one-on-one meetings, appraisals, and coaching.

• Implement and improve processes and procedures as needed, offering comprehensive training and guidance to team members.

• Assist in staff recruitment, induction, and training, with a keen focus on probationary reviews.

• Demonstrate initiative in resolving challenges while adhering to established rules and procedures.

• Manage, audit, and review compliance systems to ensure effectiveness, promptly addressing driver offenses.

The successful Transport Manager will have experience in:

• Previous experience in a multi-drop, service-focused environment.

• Profound understanding of UK domestic road transport legislation, operator licensing, and budgetary control.

• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to lead and build a high-performing team.

• Holding a CPC and proven experience in efficiently managing an Operating License.

• Experience in home deliveries is advantageous.

The successful Transport Manager will receive a salary up to \xc2\xa350,000 plus a bonus
