is a trusted and growing earthmoving and haulage business, serving clients across Cheshire, Deeside & Staffordshire. We're currently looking for a hands-on and dependable

Transport & Office Administrator

to join us on a

temporary basis

-- with the

potential for a permanent role

for the right person.

Hours:

Full-time, Monday to Friday - ideally 8 - 5.30, but can vary to accommodate the right candidate

About the Role:



This is a varied and busy role combining transport coordination and general office administration. You'll support our day-to-day operations, liaising with drivers, handling paperwork, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist with scheduling and coordinating driver jobs and vehicle movements Maintain transport records (delivery notes, weighbridge tickets, etc.) Monitor driver hours and vehicle maintenance schedules Raise invoices and match delivery tickets to customer orders Handle general office admin tasks - phones, emails, filing, document control Communicate with customers, drivers, and suppliers clearly and professionally Support management with ad-hoc tasks as needed

What We're Looking For:



Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or admin role (preferred) Basic invoicing or accounts experience, SAGE would be a benefit Highly organised and detail-oriented Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Word & Excel) A proactive attitude and ability to work independently Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
