A position has arisen within the Environmental Services Directorate for a highly motivated Transport Officer to provide technical expertise and support to the Integrated Transport Unit, based in Ty Glantaf.



The successful candidate will provide supervisory and technical expertise to support the Integrated Transport Unit's provision of Home to School, Community Care and Public Transport. The position will involve scheduling efficient transport provision, supervising tendering and contract management, and co-ordinating payments. You will manage the management information systems, investigating and responding to complaints and enquiries and maintaining close working relationships with key partners and stakeholders.



You will possess excellent supervisory skills, will be able to focus on service users and delivery, successfully managing their workload in a timely and efficient manner, and delivering excellent supervisory support to the service area.



You must also have exceptional attention to detail, be proficient in the use of IT packages, have good oral, written and communication skills, be a good organiser with a flexible approach to work and be customer focussed.
