CEMEX UK Materials, a leader in the building materials industry, is seeking a customer-centric Customer Services Representative to join our established and supportive team. As a Customer Services Representative, you will ensure exceptional service and support in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Demonstrating a visible commitment to Health & Safety within the Customer Service Centre.
Managing programmed orders and services, allocating and scheduling deliveries for same-day and next-day plans.
Communicating and coordinating with plants and hauliers to ensure efficient daily operations.
Optimising fleet management practices to enhance efficiency and compliance with regulations.
Utilising our systems and tools for vehicle location, monitoring delays, and advising on potential disruptions.
Collaborating closely with Customer Service Representatives on load status, stock levels, and availability.
Proactively managing order renegotiations and the Returned and Re-diversion process.
Continuously improving capacity planning through KPI analysis and process enhancements.
Contributing to cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives.
Planning future plant and truck availability, including scheduling MOT and servicing.
Ensuring timely completion of administrative tasks and additional service charges management.
Liaising daily with Team Leaders to optimize fleet operations and material transfers nationwide.
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders to address customer needs promptly.
Experience/Qualifications:
Previous experience in transport planning with proficiency in Transport Management systems.
Strong geographical and road network knowledge.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Customer-focused mindset with experience in a service-oriented environment.
Familiarity with KPI-driven environments and regulatory compliance (Working Time Directive, EU Drivers Hours).
Proficiency with IT systems and a digital mindset; SAP module experience preferred.
Flexible approach to teamwork and maximizing team effectiveness.
