Salary: \xc2\xa330k per year Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for a Transport Planner to work for our prestigious client based in Bilston. This is a really exciting opportunity to join a fantastic company and be part of our amazing team within the Transport / Logistics sector. Duties will include:

• Delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
• Developing a very close relationship with the business Managers in order to provide the service they crave whilst developing the change agenda to drive efficiency improvements
• Daily assessment and analysis of store delivery volumes via Warehouse Management system JDA with a view of continuous improvement
• Ensure operations are legally compliant to all relevant transport legislation ensuring compliance with RTD and WTD
• Produce daily store delivery schedule in conjunction with Shortrec planning program ensuring that all store related service targets are met
• Maintain all supporting information databases e.g. Trailer types by store, store turnaround and minimum order values
• Provide the warehouse operation with the daily plan in line with the service level agreement
• Agree and Implement new store delivery profiles, post initial stock up
• Arrange collection of agreed Company Backhaul
• Coordination and resolution of store delivery queries
• Analysis of average order sizes towards schedule change suggestions
• Coordination the systems element of setting up New stores
• All Transport Planners will be required to cover one another\xe2\x80\x99s roles in periods of annual leave or sickness absence
• Responsible for maximising cases per planned worked hour

Are you the right person for this role? You will have: Strong Transport Planning experience Experience of Paragon \xe2\x80\x93 essential Knowledge of the whole Transport operation Hours of Work: 07:30 \xe2\x80\x93 17:00 \xe2\x80\x93 Remote Working Subject to business needs, this position will require a fully flexible individual able to cover sickness / holidays and additional working days (time back in lieu) Our client are proposing a possible 4 day week Friday to Monday which would then require the successful applicant to be flexible for additional cover when required as detailed above.
