Job Summary



We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Traffic Planner / Logistics Coordinator to join our busy transport team. This role focuses on the planning and scheduling of European loads, liaising directly with customers and drivers, and ensuring all deliveries are made efficiently, accurately, and within tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and communication skills, combined with a keen understanding of logistics operations and customer service excellence.



Key Responsibilities



Plan and coordinate daily transport operations, including load scheduling to and from Europe.

Liaise with customers to arrange deliveries, confirm unloading schedules, and resolve any delivery issues promptly.

Work closely with drivers, partners, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time performance and compliance with regulations.

Monitor and manage transport deadlines, adjusting plans to accommodate changes or delays.

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to routes, loads, and delivery confirmations.

Optimise routing and vehicle utilisation to maximise efficiency and control costs.

Support the transport manager with reporting, KPI tracking, and service performance improvements.

Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, document management, and invoicing support as required.

Ensure operations comply with rules and regulations governing drivers' hours and traffic laws across European countries.

Ensure all operations are conducted in line with company policies, health and safety standards, and transport legislation.


Requirements



Previous experience in traffic planning, transport coordination, or logistics administration (European freight experience preferred).

Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with customers, drivers, and colleagues.

Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with a focus on meeting strict deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and transport management or scheduling systems.

High attention to detail, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.

Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced transport environment.


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 26,000.00-30,000.00 per year
