Job Title: Transport Planner Location: Dover, UK Salary: \xc2\xa336,000 - \xc2\xa340,000 per annum Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break) Benefits:

: Company Overview: We are supporting a highly successful logistics and distribution company based in Dover, UK, currently undergoing rapid growth. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Planner to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about transportation and have a strong background in fleet management, driver coordination, compliance, and logistics, this is an exciting opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities: As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day planning of our fleet, drivers, compliance, and bookings. Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Fleet Management: Coordinating and managing the company\'s fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are maintained, serviced, and available as needed. Driver Coordination: Assigning drivers to routes, managing driver schedules, and addressing driver concerns and inquiries. Compliance: Ensuring that all transport operations adhere to relevant legislation, safety standards, and company policies. Route Planning: Optimizing delivery routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency, taking into account delivery deadlines and customer requirements. Booking Management: Handling customer bookings, tracking orders, and maintaining clear and accurate records. Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving logistical challenges as they arise, adapting to changing circumstances, and ensuring deliveries are on schedule. Communication: Maintaining effective communication with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure a smooth operation. Qualifications and Experience: To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a similar transport planning role.
• Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics operations.
• Proficiency in using transport management software and tools.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
