Founded in 1947, we're a third-generation, family-run haulage company with a reputation for getting the job done. Based in Dumbarton, we provide specialist transport services across the UK, Ireland, and Europe -- from heavy haulage to HIAB cranes and container moves.

We're looking for a

Transport Planner

who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a strong communicator (both written and verbal) and knows their way around UK road networks.

You'll need excellent people skills, the ability to multi-task and have a keen eye for detail.

The Role Involves:



Planning and scheduling routes for our fleet of trucks across the UK Efficient allocation of drivers, vehicles, trailers etc. Upholding our standards by delivering excellent customer service with a positive attitude Being the first point of contact for drivers -- giving clear instructions, sorting out problems, and making sure all transport rules are followed. The use of vehicle tracking software to ensure jobs run efficiently Monitoring driver hours, legal compliance (WTD/tachographs), and vehicle availability. Have the ability to multitask and make quick decisions under pressure

What You'll Need:



Previous experience in a transport planning or haulage/logistics coordination role is preferable Transport Manager CPC preferred but not essential Excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills A sharp eye for detail Good geographical UK knowledge
