We're searching for a switched-on

HGV Transport Planner

who not only keeps wheels moving across the UK--but also keeps the business growing. If you've got proven experience in transport coordination, an eye for spotting new opportunities, and the hustle to support sales conversations, this role is built for you.

What You'll Be Doing

Planning compliant, cost-effective HGV routes across the UK, hitting deadlines and delighting customers. Coordinating driver schedules, managing day-to-day fleet operations, and solving problems as they arise. Ensuring full compliance with

, and relevant transport legislation. Collaborating with commercial teams to identify new business leads and enhance service offerings. Supporting customer retention and engagement through reliable planning and responsive service. Championing operational efficiency while promoting growth opportunities within the logistics landscape.
What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Transport Planner or Logistics Coordinator (HGV sector essential). In-depth knowledge of UK road networks and transport regulations. Confident understanding of compliance, driver welfare, and time-sensitive planning. Commercially minded, with the ability to identify business leads and support sales conversations. Excellent communication skills across internal teams, drivers, and clients. Familiarity with transport management systems is beneficial (but not essential).

Pay: 30,000.00-32,000.00 per year
