Move It Express, part of the Currie Solutions Group, have an exciting opportunity for a

Planner

to join our team at our busy depot in Mid Calder. No experience is necessary for this role as full training will be provided, however it is preferred.

This position would be well suited to an individual looking to kick-start their career in Logistics or someone who has an administration background with a keen interest in planning and vehicle routing.

Full training will be provided to enable you to:

Assist in the planning and routing of all Move It Express vehicles. Liaise with our drivers and customers confidently via phone, email and in person Update our traffic management system with details of customer bookings, collections, and deliveries. Be able to work in a busy and pressured environment whilst meeting targets and deadlines.
To be considered for this role, all we ask is you:

Have a minimum of 5 standard grades (level 3 or above, or equivalent) OR experience in a transport office or administration background Are comfortable working with a computer - be able to use Excel, Word, Email etc. Be a comfortable communicator on the phone, as well as in person.
You will work various shifts to assist with the planning and routing of our vehicles so you must be open and willing to the idea of early starts and later finishes, as well as occasional Saturday shifts. (Shift Times 6am - 3pm, 7am - 4pm and 9 am - 6pm, you will also work 1 in 3 Saturday mornings)
