Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
Assist the Transport Management Team to ensure effective management and planning of drivers
Work with customers to meet current and anticipated requirements
Ensure effective communication to the whole driving team
Liaising with workshop to ensure equipment inspected on time and defects rectified and maintained to a high standard
Administrative duties
Dealing with emails/ incoming phone calls
General admin duties including scanning and filing
Dealing with driver queries
Booking in deliveries at customer depots
Customer service
The right candidate should have;
Strong IT literacy skills including Microsoft packages
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to spot and escalate potential problems
Solid organisation skills, able to prioritise and work effectively to deadlines
Experience in a fast-paced administrative role, preferably within a warehouse/ distribution/ logistics environment
The ability to problem solve and make decisions quickly
Great written and verbal communication skills
Hours of Work: Full time - hours to be discussed at interview.
