Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Transport Planner to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient transport strategies that optimise logistics operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure seamless transport solutions.

Duties



Analyse transport data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in logistics operations. Develop and implement transport plans that align with organisational goals and customer requirements. Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. Monitor transport performance metrics and prepare reports for management review. Maintain accurate records of transport activities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives and enhance service delivery.

Skills



Proficient in IT applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Strong leadership abilities to guide teams towards achieving transport goals. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with stakeholders. Demonstrated organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently. Solid understanding of logistics principles and practices, with a keen eye for detail. High level of computer literacy to utilise various software tools for data analysis and reporting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

Day shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability
