Overview
We are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Transport Administrator to join our team based in Wakefield. The ideal candidate will provide full support to the transport team working within a fast paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong communication and organisational skills to contribute to the efficiency of our logistics processes. The successful applicant will utilise their expertise to support our company's operational goals.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 12pm - 8pm
(12-5 office based & 5-8pm from home)
Will need to be flexible to suit business needs
-Plus 1 in 3 Weekends
Duties
Support daily transport planning and scheduling.
Process delivery paperwork, PODs, and driver documentation.
Be a point of contact via phone and email for customers and drivers.
Maintain accurate transport records and documentation.
Handle transport-related queries, delivery timelines and resolve issues promptly.
Liaise with drivers.
Essential Experience
-Strong administration and customer service skills
-Previous experience within the logistics or transportation industry preferable
-Strong IT skills
-Ability to work within a fast paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 30,000.00-32,500.00 per year
