Carteam Transport is a growing vehicle logistics company specialising in the safe and professional movement of vehicles across the UK. We work with dealerships, trade partners, and private clients, delivering a reliable and compliant service.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced

Transport Planning Manager

to take full ownership of our day-to-day transport planning operation. This role is critical to the smooth running of the business and will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands transport compliance, and can plan efficiently while managing drivers, vehicles, and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and optimise daily and weekly vehicle movements across the UK Allocate drivers, vehicles, and trailers efficiently to meet customer requirements Monitor vehicle availability, maintenance schedules, inspections, and defect reporting Liaise with customers to confirm collections, deliveries, ETAs, and manage any changes Manage and support drivers through daily briefings, de-briefs, and ongoing communication Respond quickly to operational issues, delays, or last-minute changes to schedules Maintain accurate planning records, reports, and KPIs Work closely with management to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support growth

Experience

Proven experience in transport planning or transport operations within a logistics or vehicle-transport environment Experience planning routes and allocating drivers, vehicles, and trailers Confident managing day-to-day operational challenges and last-minute changes Experience working directly with drivers and customers Experience within the automotive industry

Pay: 28,000.00-35,000.00 per year
