Job Description

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Mobile Refrigeration Engineer working remotely throughout the midlands.

You will work as part of a small team of Mobile Refrigeration Engineers focusing on the maintenance and repair of transport refrigeration equipment and commercial air conditioned vehicles.

The role duties include:

Servicing and repair of vehicle powered road transport refrigeration units and bus and coach air conditioning. Optimise and maintain engineer van stock to maintain and enhance service delivery to clients Ensure relevant safety checks are carried out on the company van on a daily basis. Undertaking company training and self-development. To liaise with Operations Director with regard to job start and completion times, downtime and overtime authorisation; cost updates and customer purchase orders. Complete all relevant paperwork and on-line (PDA) requirements enabling central control and invoicing to maintain a high standard of customer interaction. Ensure adherence to company procedures in line with company policies, Health & safety procedures. Apprentices and or engineers in training may be supervised where applicable. Ensure customer service is a priority and conduct & corporate image (self, van, tools, spares) are first rate.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold their F-Gas qualification and have a relevant C&G or equivalent within an Engineering discipline. Experience of Refrigeration/Air Conditioning or Commercial Engineering is required as well as high levels of customer care and attention.

IT literate (Microsoft Office), PDA use Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Numerate, literate, methodical, systematic Attention to detail and target driven Customer Service Skills & Relationship building skills Punctuality and efficiency

Pay: 40,000.00-55,000.00 per year
