We are currently recruiting for an

Transport Support Clerk

to join our Transport team on a full time, permanent basis at our

Bristol

depot.

Salary

: 30,557.00 per annum

Shift:

4 on 4 off Nights

The role holder will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Correctly debriefing drivers Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly Scanning and storing PODs using Culina's document management system Preparing drivers' wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries Downloading drivers' cards / tachographs Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS) Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads

Qualifications

Attention to detail/ accuracy. Conscientious and reliable Able to work without direct supervision Adaptable approach to work/ training Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines Computer literate, particularly MS Office applications i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel or equivalent Able to work as part of a team or individually Able to work effectively and communicate to the correct level Previous experience in a similar role within a major distribution operation
