Transport Team Leader

for our Primark contract in Thrapston, who can keep our transport operation running smoothly, ensure compliance, and drive team performance. Pay, benefits and more:

We're looking to offer a salary of

35,000 per annum

, and 33 days annual leave (inclusive bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:

Lead daily transport operations, ensuring smooth and efficient performance Drive compliance with all administrative, legislative, and security requirements Collaborate across departments to prevent delays and keep customers informed Manage and motivate teams, including drivers and admin staff, through coaching and development Oversee performance and safety, from tachograph records to accident investigations and vehicle defectmanagement

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Detail-driven and organised, with strong prioritisation skills and accuracy in all tasks Experienced in transport or fast-paced operations, with solid knowledge of EU regulations and drivers' working time directives Excellent communicator and problem-solver, confident engaging at all levels and working under pressure to tight deadlines Tech-savvy and adaptable, with strong MS Office skills and familiarity with transport systems (advantageous)
