We are thrilled to announce an opening for a Team Leader position! This role has become available as our current Team Leader is on a 3-month secondment to a Shift Management role.


While this is a fixed-term contract, there is potential for extension or even a permanent position, depending on the outcome of the secondment. This is a fantastic chance to showcase your skills and possibly secure a long-term role within our dynamic team. The role is to be based at our site in Aylesbury on our contract with Arla (Dairy). We run a large fleet with 100 vehicles, and 200 drivers. This is working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern working 6pm to 6am.

Pay, benefits and more:

We're looking to offer a salary of up to 30,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 28 days holiday which includes bank holidays, as well as the option to buy additional days. What you'll do on a typical day:

Support the Shift Manager with adherence to all compliance and legal obligations during your shift with a huge emphasis on safety, deputising in their absence Assist with executing the daily plan for all deliveries and collections, with a keen eye on resource available at site and keep the customer updated Ensure all process and procedures are followed and that we operate a safe and efficient environment

What you need to succeed at XPO:

It's important you have exposure of working in a fast-paced environment - no two days will be the same and we need you to think on your feet Previous experience supervising and developing a team within a complex transport environment Proven experience within transport and a good understanding of compliance and driver hours
