The role
The primary objective of this role is to plan, facilitate, implement, and execute a people plan that covers all the Travel, Accommodation and Accreditation requirements for a salaried/ casual workforce all Absolute Tastes events, ensuring operational quality and excellence is maintained.

  • Develop detailed project plans to guide clients, staff members and project teams and revise based on changing needs and requirements
  • Monitor project performance to ensure timely delivery
  • Compile and submit project status reports to clients, management, and other stakeholders
  • Working effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation
  • Develop excellent leadership, customer relations and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders
  • Implement any necessary changes throughout the process
  • Develop and implement action plans to enable proper time, resource, and process management
  • Close out projects - this includes evaluating successes and challenges to enhance learnings for the next project.
You will lead and develop a team of casual reports, and through this team will manage up to 1000 temporary employees on event days. You will be supported in this role by both the Director of People Operations, along with their entire People Ops team and by HoD\xe2\x80\x99s from various departments within AT including HR, Finance, Events Ops, Culinary, Logistics and Procurement You will manage a high number of third-party relationships and partnerships. You will have full financial accountability for the travel, accommodation & accreditation elements of each event budget. Directly responsible for both the creation of the budget and the maintaining/ updating of this throughout preplanning stages, whilst on event and during the close down reconciliation stage of the event. The implementation of robust procedures and controls will ensure consistency across all parts of the operation and will deliver strong profitability.
The person
  • Will have a minimum of 3-5 years\' experience in a fast paced, high volume people environments such as recruitment agencies, travel companies & stadia\xe2\x80\x99s / arenas, or greenfield site events.
  • Will have worked in a similarly complex structure and will have successfully built and managed great internal and external relationships and partnerships.
  • Project Management experience will be vital to success in this role, and you will demonstrate great planning skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Will have the discipline and flexibility to produce excellent standards of individual work, and to be a strong and impactful team player.
  • Will be able to demonstrate leadership, motivational and mediation skills, and the ability to take initiative without guidance
  • Excellent understanding in the creation of digital project plan/s, including external content.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Will be commercially astute and will translate your desire to achieve results into a compelling vision
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including outside of normal working hours is essential as this is not a Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday operation.
