About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Travel Administrator to join our team based in Hessle. This position is responsible for the end-to-end coordination of travel and accommodation arrangements for our technicians, ensuring safe and timely arrival at sites across various locations.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to perform well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage all travel and accommodation requirements using internal resource planning tools.
Liaise with technicians and account coordinators to confirm travel arrangements.
Monitor and control travel-related costs, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
Oversee hire car bookings and management.
Provide support to the Travel Team Coordinator in the allocation of tasks and achievement of service level agreements (SLAs).
Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, signposting queries appropriately.
Triage and escalate concerns, complaints, or issues to relevant departments in a timely manner.
Perform general administrative duties including handling phone calls, managing deliveries, and front-of-house reception tasks.
Provide ad hoc support to the Operational Support team as required.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics.
Previous experience in travel administration, logistics, or coordination is desirable.
Proficient in the Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Strong organisational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and resilience under pressure.
