At Freedom Insurance Services Ltd, we've been helping people travel with confidence since 2002. We were one of the first in the UK to design specialist travel insurance policies for those with pre-existing medical conditions, and today our mission remains the same: to deliver excellent customer service and make sure every traveller has the right cover so they can relax and enjoy their holiday.
We provide a range of products tailored for all kinds of travellers, from people with medical conditions to those already abroad or heading off on one-way trips.
The Role
We're looking for positive, motivated, customer-focused people to join our friendly and supportive team of Travel Insurance Agents, both part-time and full-time positions available.
You'll be the first point of contact for customers calling in to get travel insurance policies, make changes to their policies, and get the right cover for their trip. This role is all about listening, understanding customer needs, and providing a great service while achieving sales.
Telephone and computer based - no cold calling, no face-to-face selling, you'll be confident using systems and multi-tasking while keeping conversations natural and engaging
Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
Part-time: Hours to be agreed
Opening Hours Monday to Friday between 8.45am - 5:15pm (with the possibility of some Saturday work in future)*
What We're Looking For
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Strong customer service skills and a natural ability to build rapport
A positive, proactive attitude with the drive to succeed
Previous contact centre and/or sales experience - ideally in travel insurance or similar products would be beneficial but not essential.
Great communication skills (both written and verbal)
Attention to detail and the ability to explain information clearly
Confidence using Microsoft Office and in-house systems
A team-player mindset, ready to support colleagues and suggest improvement
