Job Description

We specialise in leisurely cycling holidays across Europe and Asia. Joining our small, passionate team of travel enthusiasts, you'll help customers find their perfect cycling holiday from scenic river paths to coastal routes and everything in between.

This is a hands-on sales role for someone who loves active travel, delivers exceptional customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment where no two days are the same. You'll love talking to customers and be able to adapt in different situations, when priorities shift and clear-cut answers aren't always obvious.

What You'll Be Doing

As a

Travel Sales Consultant

, your role is to guide customers from the moment of their first enquiry to after they return home from their trip, ensuring every step of their journey feels smooth, thoughtful and personal.

A typical day includes:

Speaking with customers by phone and email to understand their holiday plans Offering honest advice and recommendations on our selection of cycling tours Tailoring and pricing the holiday using our in-house system Booking the holidays with suppliers and confirming all details Preparing and sending travel documents, and answering pre-departure questions Checking in with customers post-holiday and handling feedback

Load contracts and update product information on our website Collaborate with suppliers to resolve customer queries and any issues whilst travelling Work flexibly and positively when plans shift because sometimes, they will

What We're Looking For

We're after more than just a strong CV. We're looking for someone who loves talking to customers, takes pride in doing things well, and takes a proactive approach to their work.

You'll ideally bring:

Two years' experience in an office-based role, ideally with a sales focus Confidence on the phone, plus clear, thoughtful written communication Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and comfortable using internal IT systems Strong organisational ability with an eye for detail A flexible mindset with a proactive attitude and willingness to pitch in as part of a small team
Bonus points for:

First-hand travel experience, especially in Europe and Asia Knowledge of the travel industry or experience with active holidays A passion for cycling or outdoor adventure

We're a small, supportive team based in bright, modern offices just off the seafront in Hove - perfect for commuting by bike, a lunchtime swim, or a walk along the beach.

The Details

Contract:

Full-time, permanent, office-based

Hours:

37.5 hours/week, Mon-Fri (9am-5:30pm) and January weekend shifts

Salary:

24,570-28,000 depending on experience

Bonus:

Up to 10% annual performance-based bonus
