Treasury Accounting Manager

Job Description

The Opportunity:
We are currently recruiting for a Treasury Accounting Manager to join us in our Glasgow office to play a leading role in the Global Finance function through cash flow forecast preparation, month end accounting, variance analysis, forecasting and annual budgeting for the Treasury function.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Production of monthly Group cash flow forecast and of monthly and daily cash flow updates and forecasts for the UK, Australia and other RoW offices as needed.
  • Coordination and compilation of cash flow forecasts from all offices in the Ashurst network.
  • Execution of fx trades (spot (mainly), forward and swaps (if needed)) on 360T platform.
  • Regular treasury reporting to senior management as well as preparation of annual budget for Global Treasury and assist in management of global treasury budget and responding to treasury related audit requests.
  • Project work including working with wider Financial Management team members to further refine cashflow modelling.

About you:
The successful candidate will have:
  • Extensive relevant experience, with a professional accounting or treasury qualification (e.g., ICAS, ACCA, ICAEW or equivalent).
  • Ability to demonstrate sound understanding of the professional services business model.
  • Experience of working in an international and multi-currency business, preferably within the professional services sector.
  • Experience of managing cash flow forecast preparation process.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills, ability to manipulate and make sense of large volumes of data.
