Job Summary



The Treatment Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless experience for patients throughout their treatment journey. This position involves coordinating appointments, managing patient records, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a background in office administration, enabling them to support both the clinical team and patients effectively.

Details



Working pattern: Monday to Thursday- 8am - 5pm and Friday- 8am - 4pm. 39.5 hours per week. Rate of pay- 14 - 15 an hour dependant on experience.

Duties



Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in process. Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of time and resources. Maintain accurate patient records and manage documentation related to treatment plans. Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and follow-up care. Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure all patient needs are met efficiently. Handle patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy. Assist in managing billing processes and insurance claims as needed. Maintain a tidy and organised office environment to enhance patient experience.

Requirements



Previous office experience is essential, preferably in a healthcare setting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for interacting with patients and staff. Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficiency in using office software and managing electronic patient records. A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality patient care while contributing to an efficient office environment. Candidates with a background in Dental Nursing would be highly desirable.
