As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will assess patients, provide advice, prioritize care using the Australasian Triage Score, and ensure safe and effective patient management.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial assessments of adult and pediatric patients presenting with minor illnesses and injuries
Prioritize care using the Australasian Triage Score
Provide advice, signpost, and repatriate patients where safe and appropriate
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective communication and patient safety
Support adult and child safeguarding processes
Participate in audits, mandatory training, and professional development
Escalate clinical issues to the person in charge as needed
Contribute to the implementation of the clinical strategy
Qualifications and Skills
Registered with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council)
Post-registration experience in urgent care, triage, or a similar clinical setting
Knowledge of urgent care clinical conditions and triage processes
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
Commitment to continued professional development
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Salary and Benefits
Salary
: 35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
