Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and flatbeds. This role involves transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Duties

Operate and drive different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and flatbeds. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment, ensuring safe handling of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption. Navigate routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules, road conditions, and any issues that arise during transport. Utilize manual transmission when required for specific driving situations. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for tanker operations preferred. Proven experience driving various types of trucks, including but not limited to tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and flatbeds. Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading freight is a plus. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety regulations. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and customers. Willingness to adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding safety and compliance.
