We are seeking a professional and reliable Recovery Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries, across designated routes. Load and unload cars with care, ensuring items are secured properly for transit. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic mechanical checks to ensure safety standards are met. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in compliance with company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures during all driving activities. Assist with warehouse duties when required, including loading and organising stock.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery roles, preferably with flatbed vehicles. Strong driving skills with a valid driver's licence and a clean driving record. Knowledge of mechanical systems related to lorries and trucks for basic troubleshooting. Experience in warehouse operations is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients. Ability to manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines under pressure. Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road.
