We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of vehicle safety and compliance. Duties

Operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries, in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies. Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and optimise fuel consumption. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in safe working order. Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly during transit. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery times and any issues encountered. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance needs. Adhere to all legal requirements related to driving hours, tachograph regulations, and road safety standards. Assist with warehouse duties when required, including inventory management and stock organisation.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed or specialised vehicles such as lorries. EU Haulage Experience is Advantageous Knowledge of mechanical systems related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Experience working within a warehouse environment is advantageous. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. Familiarity with delivery routes and logistics planning is desirable. This role requires a dedicated individual capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently while prioritising safety at all times.
