We have an exciting new opportunity for someone to join us as a Driver/ Valeter at our Accident Repair Centre in Hoddesdon.

ROLE TITLE:

Collection and Recovery Truck Driver

REPORTING TO:

General Manager

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:

To carry out the collection and delivery of customers' vehicles, professionally deal with customers, and ensure high standards of customer service.

MAIN TASKS

Carry out collection and delivery of customers' vehicles as scheduled, completing all relevant paperwork with the customer, ensuring that the customer is treated professionally and efficiently. To drive vehicles in a safe, lawful manner, considering the weather and traffic conditions, and reporting all faults with vehicles driven. Ensure all documentation is correct when transferring vehicles. Report any accidents or incidents to your line manager without delay. Comply fully with health and safety legislation, e.g. driving whilst under the influence of sleep-inducing medication, and driving vehicles for which you are not insured or trained. Maintain a high level of customer care and satisfaction. To be aware of and adhere to all health and safety regulations and policies applicable to your position or environment. To be responsible for the collection of payments and receipts and to ensure the correct banking procedures are followed on return to the office.

Due to the size and complexity of the establishments you will undertake any other reasonable tasks or duties that are deemed to be within your capability, as directed by a senior manager to whom you have a reporting relationship.

A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role is essential.

Our core business hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.
