Overview

We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your driving expertise and mechanical knowledge in a dynamic environment, contributing to the efficient operation of our supply chain. The position is full-time and involves doing haulage of amazon freight, with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles with detached trailers, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies. Drive in plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while considering traffic conditions and load requirements. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after journeys, reporting any mechanical issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or delays. hold high standards of customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and professional interactions with clients.

Qualifications

Two years experience in commercial driving, particularly similar roles involving transportation of goods. Valid driver's licence category (C+E) Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to commercial driving and cargo securement. Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing schedules or routes.
