Fixed term for 12-month, full time, 10 Programmed Activities per week

South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust are recruiting for a Trust Grade Doctor to join the Horizon Assessment and Treatment Unit (ATU) based at Horizon ATU, Fieldhead Hospital, WF1 3SP. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our patients receive the care that they need and will be an integral role within the Horizon ATU.

  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification form an institution listed in World Directory of Medical Schools*
Desirable
  • Experience of working other medical specialties for eg: general medicine, geriatric medicine, Accident and Emergency/Casualty.
  • Evidence of achievement in education, research, audit and service improvement: awards, prizes, presentations and publications.
  • Courses in Psychiatry.
Eligibility
Essential
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
  • Clinical Training within the NHS at resident doctor level.
Desirable
  • In good standing with GMC.
  • Experience of Psychiatry inpatient work.

  • Good clinical skills and understanding of the bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge.
  • Excellent knowledge in specialty.
