About the Department
The Aberdeen Group Charitable Trust is focused on delivering practical support to help people across the UK overcome barriers to employment and improve their financial wellbeing.
Taking a stage not age approach--tailoring help for individuals at key life moments, whether they're battling with low financial confidence because of little or no financial education, entering the workforce, returning after time away, or navigating key transitions later in life.
The emphasis is on getting support directly to those who need it through creating partnerships with local organisations, offering hands-on programmes that tackle barriers relating to employment and financial resilience, while continuing to support some key areas of research aligned to this theme.
By supporting both research and programme delivery, the strategy aims to empower people to build resilience, gain meaningful employment, and take control of their financial future.
