We seek a Trust and Tax Administrator to Support the Private Client Trust and Tax Manager, including but not limited to tax administration work such as logging tax return information in as it is received, scanning and saving tax return paperwork in line with paperless office system, filing Trust, Estate and Personal tax returns online with HMRC, maintaining tax return controls, checking and liaising with HMRC regarding tax payments due in July and January, dealing with online agent authorisations, requesting tax clearance from HMRC. And generally support the Trust and Tax Manager with such HMRC administration as is required.
Previous experience helpful but not necessary as full training will be given. Any accounts preparation experience a bonus. A willingness to learn and a helpful attitude are more important. The role may suit a part-time worker as flexible hours can be considered but due to the nature of the work, will involve the majority of time spent working in the office rather than remotely. This is a role than can be progressed to preparing Trust, Estate and Personal tax returns as well as 60 Day CGT Property returns, under the supervision of the Manager, if desired.
