The Disability Resource Centre

is an award-winning local charity supporting people with disabilities and long-term health conditions and their carers. We are now recruiting a

full-time Trusted Assessor

to help deliver vital services to unpaid carers in Luton.

What you'll do

Proactively identify, engage, and support unpaid carers accessing Carers Assessments in Luton through outreach activities, contact creation through DRC CRM and information provision, aligning with the Luton Carers Strategy 2023-2028 and service KPIs. This role will facilitate early identification of carers within seldom heard groups, ensuring they receive timely information, signposting, and support to maintain their well-being and independence while meeting contractual KPI requirements. Support carers to identify themselves and record consented contacts on the system to increase the number of new carers identified monthly. Foster a culture of accuracy, integrity, and continuous learning.

What you'll need

Experience in community outreach, engagement, or support roles. A Full UK Driving License Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Understanding of confidentiality, GDPR, and data protection. Ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Commitment to the values of inclusion, dignity, and respect Basic IT and data entry skills for CRM and reporting. Excellent listening skills, empathy and understanding Understanding of acts:

- Health and Social Care (Safety and Quality) Act 2015.
