We're looking for a skilled and motivated Trusts & Grants Fundraiser to join our small but ambitious team. This role is central to securing income that enables us to grow our work and achieve our mission.

About the Role
Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, you'll take the lead on researching, writing, and coordinating high-quality funding proposals to trusts, foundations, and statutory bodies. You'll maintain excellent relationships with funders, ensure compliance with reporting requirements, and play a key role in the sustainability and growth of our charity.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify new funding opportunities from UK-based trusts, foundations, and grant-making bodies.
Write compelling, tailored funding applications and proposals.
Maintain a calendar of deadlines, reports, and renewal dates.
Work with programme staff to gather data and case studies to strengthen applications.
Maintain records of applications and outcomes using our CRM/grant tracking system.
Build and maintain strong relationships with funders through timely communication and reporting.
Support with impact reporting and contribute to the overall fundraising strategy.
About You
You'll be a confident and persuasive communicator with a track record of successful grant writing. Highly organised and self-motivated, you'll enjoy researching opportunities, building relationships, and turning information into compelling cases for support.
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience in successful grant writing and fundraising, ideally in the charity/voluntary sector.
Excellent written communication and editing skills.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Ability to interpret complex information and present it persuasively.
Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
Understanding of the UK funding landscape.
Desirable
Familiarity with CRM systems and grant tracking tools.
Experience working in a charity or non-profit environment.
Knowledge of impact measurement and outcomes-based reporting.
Contract Details
Part-time: 15 hours per week (flexible working pattern, Monday-Friday, can suit term-time or school hours)
Salary: 30,000 per annum (pro rata)
Contract: Permanent, employed
Location: Hybrid working, based in Bristol (St Paul's Learning Centre and home-based)
