Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Setter to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and setting up equipment and components to ensure efficient production processes. This role requires a strong understanding of fabrication, assembly, and mechanical principles, with a focus on precision and safety. The Setter will play a vital part in maintaining high standards of quality and productivity within our operations.

Responsibilities

Set up machinery and equipment according to specifications, ensuring accurate alignment and calibration Programme & operate Tube Laser Machine Perform fabrication tasks such as cutting, grinding work as needed Conduct inspections of parts and assemblies to verify adherence to quality standards Assist with troubleshooting issues during setup or production runs Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times Collaborate with team members to optimise setup procedures and improve efficiency

Requirements

3D Cad Drawing experience essential Strong knowledge of sheet metal work and the use of hand tools Familiarity with tooling and basic maths for measurements and calculations Mechanical knowledge relevant to setting up machinery and components Ability to interpret technical drawings, diagrams, or specifications accurately Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is desirable but not essential

Pay: 14.00-15.00 per hour
