We're seeking a Turnaround Coordinator to play an integral role in our aviation contract, delivering a first-class service and achieving fantastic results.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
Coordinating the turnaround process of an aircraft, from standing/arriving at airport, through to departure
Ensuring that all ground handling activities are carried out correctly and efficiently (such as passenger boarding, baggage loading and aircraft refueling)
Being the primary point of contact for ground handling agents, airport authorities and other stakeholders involved in the aircraft turnaround process
Facilitating effective communication between different teams to ensure a seamless and timely turnaround process
Ensuring adherence to aircraft safety protocols, such as weight and balance
Resolving any issues or delays promptly
Ensuring all paperwork relating to the aircraft turnaround is completed
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

An essential part of this role is having team leading/management experience
Having previous aviation experience is desirable
Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to quickly and accurately react to any given situation
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL
Be able to provide five years address history
Be able to provide five years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
To obtain a full airside ID
Pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test
