Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths, English and Science Tutor to provide personalised academic support to primary and secondary students up to GCSE Level. The ideal candidate must live locally, possess excellent GCSE/A Level grades, have a passion for teaching and excellent communication skills. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' learning journeys while fostering their confidence and academic success.

Duties



Deliver customised tutoring sessions in Maths, English and Science adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs Assess students' strengths and areas for improvement, developing tailored lesson plans accordingly Support students with homework, exam preparation, and study techniques to enhance their understanding and performance Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and motivation Track progress and provide constructive feedback to students and, where appropriate, to parents or guardians

Skills



Have an excellent academic background with good GCSE/A Level grades Strong communication skills to effectively convey concepts and motivate learners of all ages Ability to adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles and requirements Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting student development
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Graduate
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 10.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 per week
