A close team with big influence

We're ICAS - a global professional membership organisation and business network for Chartered Accountants. We're an educator, regulator, examiner, and a professional awarding body. Our smart and talented team comes from all walks of life. With a relaxed dynamic and a collaborative spirit, we take care of each other while supporting a vibrant, global membership.

Are you seeking a new and rewarding career pathway supporting learners on their journey to professional qualification? Come join ICAS!

We are recruiting for a dedicated Tutor to join our delivery team for the CA qualification and beyond. You will play a key role in teaching and supporting students, combining engaging digital content with in-centre and online workshop learning, both of which embed understanding, with our aim to enable positive student outcomes. We are looking for qualified professionals or experienced Tutors who can inspire, motivate, and support our students, bringing to life the syllabus using your skills, knowledge and subject expertise. You'll join our dedicated Learning team building and enhancing your knowledge and developing your subject portfolio.

What you'll do

As a tutor you will develop and deliver a portfolio of subjects, both in-centre and online, across a variety of locations. The subjects include:

Corporate Finance and Modelling ('CFM') Reporting and Performance 2 ('RP2') Advanced Reporting and Performance ('ARP')

Relevant Taxation experience would also be beneficial.

You'll be a subject matter expert, prepare thoroughly for each course, and support learners through guidance, tutoring, and technical advice. Collaboration with colleagues is essential to ensure consistency and excellence in the learner experience, while also working with Subject and Assessment Managers to integrate and communicate key content and assessment outcomes. Staying current with teaching trends and maintaining the organisation's professional standards and values are also central to the role.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant (or relevant equivalent Level 11 Masters/Level 7 apprenticeship), with strong technical and practical experience in the relevant subject areas. You'll have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage students and present/facilitate workshops with confidence, clarity, and purpose. You must have a passion and enthusiasm for delivery with a focus on quality and learner outcomes. You'll have a proactive and adaptable approach to continuous learning both for your own personal development and to ensure you stay relevant and to encourage our students' a growth mindset and support their future professional career success. Experience in programme delivery within a learning environment (for example within a training provider, or within higher education) is desirable. Being familiar with online delivery platforms (for example, Microsoft Teams, adobe connect, Kahoot) would also be advantageous. We will provide training where necessary.

What you'll get?

Working with ICAS means more than just a salary. Everyone is different and values benefits differently. Therefore, the benefits package is designed to allow you to choose what works best for you. Find out more here
