The Opportunity:
We are seeking to appoint 2 tutors with a first degree in music and/or psychology area to fill tutoring positions on Psychology of Music to in Semester 2, 2025-26. This UG course provides an introduction to the study of psychology of music. Students are encouraged to think critically around the topic which is introduced from a broad perspective. The course is open to students across the university and does not require any musically specific skills (notation, theory, etc.). The course is taught weekly by means of formal teaching sessions and associated (bi-weekly) tutorial sessions. The tutorials are a key element of the course intended to reinforce and expand upon taught content that also incorporate a series of tasks, which are linked to assessment. Successful applicants will lead the bi-weekly tutorials and will contribute to marking and assessment under the supervision of the course organiser.
