Responsibilities

Deliver customised tutoring sessions in specific subjects, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs Support students in developing effective study skills and organisational strategies Assess student progress regularly and adjust lesson plans accordingly Foster a positive, motivating atmosphere that encourages student engagement and confidence Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and guardians regarding student development and areas for improvement Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, attendance, and progress reports Stay informed about curriculum changes and best practices in tutoring and special education when applicable

Requirements

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children or young learners Strong understanding of educational principles and effective teaching techniques Experience working with students requiring special education support is advantageous Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple sessions efficiently Passionate about education and committed to fostering a supportive learning environment Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or specialised subjects are desirable but not essential
